For one great night a year, Edgartown’s Daniel Fisher House is allowed to have amplified music outdoors. And for one oh-so-memorable night a year, The Sultans take full advantage. Over 2000 music and food lovers pack the Taste of the Vineyard each June to raise money for the Martha’s Vineyard Preservation Trust. It is a gourmet stroll and musical throwdown of epic proportions…if you can get the coveted tickets…which sell out in about an hour.
The Lady in Red Gala in Palm Beach is synonymous with lavish, elegant, stunningly beautiful and most importantly, purposeful. The 20th annual event with “A Night in Rio” theme, once again kicked off the Palm Beach social season in grand style at the Mar-a-Lago Club. Philanthropist Lois Pope and her LIFE Foundation hosted the party along with Jay Leno, to raise money for the American Humane Association, which protects abused and neglected children and animals. As always, The Sultans headlined the event with their signature brand of the finest entertainment available.
You never know who’s going to drop in on The Sultans. Pop star Natasha Bedingfield busted out a blistering rendition of “Get Lucky” at a recent star-studded 4th of July party in Hyannis, MA…while over in Chilmark, MA, drummer Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers was energizing the stage with The Sultans’ own Erika Van Pelt.
